Making a mark
Press a focus to mark meaningful advancement. A mark is not a checkbox and does not mean the focus is complete. It records that the focus moved forward.
Most marks can stay plain. When a moment asks to be remembered, add memory to the mark from the focus menu.
Focuses, spaces, and standing
A focus is something you are holding in attention. Spaces gather focuses through tags, but a focus can also stand on its own. Standing does not mean misplaced or unfinished. It simply has its own presence.
Use spaces when they make the present view easier to meet. Leave them aside when they start to feel like a system to maintain.
Shape view
Shape view changes what the present view is holding. You can choose which part of each story is visible, whether to show all held focuses or only focuses that moved forward, which spaces are visible, and whether the rhythm field is open or narrowed.
These are ways of looking, not judgments about what matters.
Import and export
Kansostori can export your focuses, marks, memories, tags, and spaces as JSON. File exports are written only where you choose. Clipboard exports replace the current clipboard.
Imports are read only when you choose a file or clipboard import. Imported data is merged into the app's local store.
Privacy
Kansostori stores your progress data on your device. It does not collect analytics, track you, or send your focuses and marks to a server.
